West County Dawn (2001)

I had gotten up well before sunrise in order to photograph a favorite tree about an hour away from my house, at sunrise.  It was a damp and chilly spring morning, and on the way I found this scene!  By the time I set up my medium-format camera and shot several exposures the ground fog was already clearing.  I made it to the tree in time to get it in first light, too.
