Tulip Tree Blossom #2, B/W (2003)

This tree is the eastern yellow poplar, its common name arising from the shape of the leaves.  It is a popular landscaping tree, and its blooms are inconspicuous as they appear after the rather large leaves are out and are camouflaged by their greenish-yellow color.  If you stop to look at them you will see they are really very lovely.
